| Seventh and Eighth case of H1N1 in Maldives |
| The seventh case of H1N1 in Maldives was confirmed on 18 November 2009. This is also the first death of an H1N1 and the first locally transmitted case reported in Maldives. This was a 65yr old Maldivian from R. Inguraidhoo detected at R.Ungoofaaru Hospital. The eighth case was detected on 20th November 2009. This is a 4 yr old boy from R.Inguraidhoo who was a family contact of H1N1 confirmed case in R.Inguraidhoo. The boy is currently under treatment. |
